Melody

Melody is a 1.5-year-old Belgian Malinois who weighs around 45 pounds. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas and is now looking for a family who understands the unique qualities of her breed. Melody is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and picks up new things almost instantly. She thrives on working with her person and making them proud.

Ideal Home

Melody would do best with a family that will keep both her mind and body active through training, walks, games, and new adventures. She enjoys being included in her people's activities and seems to do well with other dogs. A home with experienced Belgian Malinois owners is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Melody will come fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.

Training & Support

Melody can get a little excited during adventures, especially on leash, but she responds very well to guidance and correction. She is attentive, highly trainable, and thrives with structure and consistency.
