Maya is a 6-year-old, 56 lb bundle of joy with a heart full of love, ready to be your loyal companion. She was surrendered by her previous owner due to health issues but has since overcome her challenges with the help of her foster family. Maya has a medium energy level and loves to play ball and socialize with her dog friends. She's an absolute delight to have around, always sweet, incredibly affectionate, and sticking close like a loyal shadow. Maya has a positive and happy demeanor, and she seamlessly integrated into a household with other dogs, respecting their pack dynamics. Her enthusiasm for balls is infectious, and she's quick to learn routines, happily retreating to her sleeping space when it's time for bed. Maya also responds well to commands and is content when left alone for short periods.

Ongoing Health

Maya had 7 small cancer growths removed and has been cancer-free for two years. Her vet recommends regular rechecks for cancer growths every three months for up to a year, and she may need growths removed every 1-2 years to monitor their size. Local adoption is advised due to potential future treatment costs.

Training & Support

Maya is well-behaved and responds to commands. She has adapted well to kennel routines and short absences.
