My name is Raleigh! I'm a sweet, silly, cuddly 11 and a half year old Shih Tzu, weighing in at 17 pounds. I might be a "granny" dog, but I have plenty of love and life left to share with my special person. Once I feel safe and trust you, I'll be your devoted soulmate. I'm already perfectly house, crate, and leash trained, and I absolutely love car rides, watching squirrels, hanging out in the yard, and being your gardening supervisor!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a patient, quiet, and loving home where I can feel safe and secure. I do best as the only pet and would prefer a home without children. A fenced yard would be wonderful for me to carry my favorite stuffed bunny, "BunBun," around. While I'm not a fan of visitors or change, I'm happy to relax in my room with BunBun while company is over and wait for it to be just us again.

Ongoing Health

My adoption fee is sponsored and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.

Training & Support

I'm already house, crate, and leash trained! My main support need is a patient owner who understands I need time to warm up and can provide a stable, predictable environment. I'm not a social butterfly, so a home where I'm the sole focus will help me thrive.

Transporation

I am located in Springfield, MO. We do adopt out of state with vet references and a video home check. The adopter is responsible for coming to get me and returning me if the adoption does not work out.
