Lemonade

Lemonade is a sweet, goofy girl who is eager to spend time next to you on the couch and loves being pet. She's a great companion who will make her new people so happy! Our favorite thing about this girl is how much she doesn't understand how big and tall she is – she's always trying to squeeze into small chairs and spaces that cannot accommodate her long limbs. She is generally easy to keep calm during her current exercise restriction through a variety of enrichment activities, and she enjoys sitting on the stoop watching people go by, or going for a car ride with her head out the window.

Ideal Home

Lemonade has done best with free roam, which she prefers to being crated. She has regularly been home solo for 2 to 3 hours and barks a little at first, but then settles. She is not sure about cats, but with proper introductions, she would likely do well with children.

Ongoing Health

Lemonade is heartworm positive and on activity restriction. She is undergoing treatment at Ellis Clinic at no charge to the adopter. Heartworm is a treatable disease that most dogs make a full recovery from. You can learn more about heartworm treatment on our resource page. Lemonade is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is also microchipped.

Lemonade is house-trained and doing great with leash walking.
