Madeline (Maddie)

Madeline, estimated to be about 9 months old and weighing 40 lbs, is a gorgeous little gal with the softest fur. She was rescued from a shelter euthanasia list after being too scared to walk on a leash, but is now thriving in foster care. Maddie is a good girl who loves attention, is doing great with potty and kennel training, and walks well on a leash. She also rides nicely in the car, ready for your next adventure. She likes all dogs and cats she has met with proper introductions and would love a friendly fur sibling in her forever home. While she warms up quickly to adults and older kids, she can become frightened around smaller children and will retreat. With patience and kindness, she can continue to build confidence, but will need a family committed to helping her work through her fears. We expect her to grow into the perfect medium-large sized companion.
