King of the Toy Box

King is an easy-going, aspiring toy collector with a friendly presence. He doesn't need to be the center of attention but quietly wins you over with his gentle nature and sweet smile. He's content to entertain himself with his toys but would love a human to join him for a game of tug-of-war! King is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs about 50 lbs, expected to reach 55-60 lbs. He appears to be an American Bully/Pittie mix, but as with any rescue, breed and age are our best guess. King is a steady, grounded companion who simply wants to share space and enjoy life's simple pleasures.

Ideal Home

King would thrive in a home with a yard where he can explore and enjoy his independence. He would not be a good fit for apartment living at this time.

Ongoing Health

King is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

King has basic leash manners but will need continued guidance. He can be strong when he sees something that interests him, like a new dog friend. He will benefit from consistent training and structure.

King is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
