Augustus

Augustus, affectionately known as Gus, is a handsome brindle boy who weighs about 80 pounds. Born in June of 2020, he's a solid and athletic fellow who truly loves people and is eager to please. Gus is playful and enjoys the company of female dogs, though he doesn't get along with most male dogs. He likes to roughhouse with his canine pals but enjoys being with his humans even more. He's generally polite and sits on command, and he has a lot of energy and loves to run. When called, Gus will race toward you, skid to a stop, and sit patiently, waiting for pets or a treat – he loves both! Gus rides well in the car and is easy to bathe. He's good on a leash, provided there aren't any male dogs nearby, and would be a fantastic buddy for long walks or jogs. Augustus is a real Prince Charming and will make a wonderful addition to some lucky home. Could it be yours?

Ideal Home

Gus would love an active home where he can join you for long walks or jogs. He enjoys playing with his doggy buddies, but prefers to be with his people. He needs a home where he won't encounter too many male dogs.

Gus is neutered and vaccinated.

Gus is generally polite, sits on command, and is house-trained. He's good on a leash when other male dogs aren't present.
