Journey

Journey is a handsome, three-and-a-half-year-old neutered male husky with striking black and white markings. Weighing between 45-50lbs, his birthday is August 17, 2022. Journey's story is quite remarkable; he was famously rescued during a hurricane in Houston, where he bravely swam to shore before being found. Since that ordeal a year and a half ago, he has discovered the joys of a comfortable, loving home and is eager to find his forever family. He gets along well with most medium to large-sized dogs, both male and female, though he has a preference against one specific red husky.

Ideal Home

Journey would thrive in a home with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person who can include him in their daily life and adventures. He is not suited for apartment living and absolutely NEEDS A FENCED YARD to roam and play. He loves the water and has no issues with car rides.

Ongoing Health

Journey is up to date on all his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, on monthly preventatives, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

This intelligent boy knows his basic commands but is not yet off-leash trained. He is also not a fan of tie-outs or electric fences.
