Fiona

Fiona is a sweet, gentle, and timid Pointer mix who is about 5 years old. She came to us from a large hoarding situation and, as a result, it takes her some time to trust new people. With patience and tasty treats, she will learn that you are a friend. Once she trusts you, she is a lovable dog who will become a fast and true companion!

Ideal Home

Fiona would do best in a quiet home with a slow-paced lifestyle. An adult-only home might be best, as a lot of commotion can scare her. She absolutely loves other dogs and needs to be in a home with at least one other dog of similar size (she weighs about 45 pounds) or larger. A fenced yard is a must for Fiona.

Ongoing Health

Fiona is spayed, vaccinated, and house-trained.

Training & Support

Fiona is still terrified of leashes and leash training will be an ongoing process. She is crate-trained and knows her basic commands.
