Jason is a smart, fun-loving dog who is eager to please and form a strong bond with his person. He's a natural athlete, excelling at agility and enjoying outdoor adventures like hiking. Jason is also a great companion for car rides and will reliably check back in with you on walks. He's completed dog school and has mastered basic obedience commands, making him a star student who is focused and affectionate. Jason would thrive with an experienced handler who can continue his training and guide him in exploring the world.

Ideal Home

Jason would be a perfect companion for someone who enjoys outdoor adventures and is looking for a loyal and energetic friend. He would do well in a home with another dog, but should be monitored when meeting new dogs, especially males, to ensure compatibility due to his strength.

Ongoing Health

Jason will receive a full medical assessment before leaving Cortez Rescue to ensure he remains in optimum health.

Training & Support

Jason is intelligent and responds well to training. He has completed Dog School and knows basic leash skills and commands like sit, down, off, wait, heel, and come. Continued leash and obedience training will be beneficial, along with plenty of exercise, to help him become an even more wonderful companion.
