Hi there, I’m Lucy! I'm a sweet and goofy girl with big, soulful eyes, and I'm about a year old. Not too long ago, I was found on the side of the highway in Miami, FL, injured and struggling to survive. But thanks to some kind humans, my life took a turn for the better! It was a long road to recovery; I couldn't walk or go to the bathroom on my own. But day by day, I got stronger. First, I could lift my head, then stand, and one amazing day, I ran! Now I’m feeling better than ever and ready to find my forever family. I'm a medium-sized mix, gaining weight and building muscle, but I'm already healthy and happy. I love other dogs and would be happiest with a playful pup friend. I'm also a very affectionate "Velcro dog" who just wants to be near my people. Whether we're playing, snuggling, or just being together, I'll be right by your side. I’ve been through a lot, but I’ve never lost my sweet, silly, and loving nature. I’m so excited to be here and appreciate every moment.
