Buddy is a sweet, senior beagle mix who is ready to find his forever home! He's a loving companion who enjoys good food and a comfortable spot to relax.

Ideal Home

Buddy would do best in a home that understands his needs as a senior dog. He can become resistive and difficult to handle if he feels overly restrained, so a patient and gentle approach is key.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is a senior gentleman and has some age-related health concerns. He has severe dental disease, several soft tissue masses (suspected to be lipomas, but diagnostics are needed), and a heart murmur. He is currently eating well. We recommend further diagnostics including lab work, fine needle aspirates of the masses, and a dental procedure. He will likely need sedation for any diagnostic procedures due to his reaction to restraint.

Training & Support

Buddy would benefit from a patient owner who can manage his health needs with care and understanding. He is not a fan of being restrained, so positive reinforcement and sedation for necessary procedures are recommended.
