Romaro

Meet Romaro, affectionately known as Romy! This sweet and cuddly fellow was found abandoned in the woods and is now looking for his forever home. Romy is a delightful mix of loving companion and playful energy. He absolutely adores snuggling and wants to be right by your side, whether you're relaxing or on the go. He enjoys car rides, loves going for walks, is great with kids, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Romy thrives on companionship and needs a home where someone is present a lot, making a work-from-home or retired lifestyle ideal. He would likely do best in a home with another dog. His ideal home also features a very secure yard, as he is an escape artist. He needs to be able to see out of windows to feel secure when you're away. Romy has anxiety about being alone and cannot be confined in crates, bedrooms with closed doors, or even the car. He is slowly learning to be by himself for short periods, but tolerates no confinement at this time.

Ongoing Health

Romy is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Romy is fully potty trained and sleeps through the night. While he's a social and cuddly bug, he could benefit from some obedience training to work on commands like "sit," "stay," and "no jump." His primary need is for a consistent presence and understanding of his anxiety around being alone and confined spaces.
