Meet Rosa, our delightful shorty pittie mix! She truly lives up to her name with a personality that's a perfect blend of calm and playful. Rosa loves a good cuddle session, followed by some fun outdoors chasing her ball or soaking up the sun. While she enjoys her own toys and food, she's happy to share with her very best friend, Shadow! Rosa can be a bit selective with her canine companions; too many dogs at once can be overwhelming for her. She tends to bond with larger, lower-energy dogs and will choose her own friends. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she's quick to become affectionate. Bringing a ball or a treat can certainly help speed up the friendship-making process! Rosa is a clean girl in her crate and walks nicely on a leash, though she can be a bit strong. Her adoption fee is sponsored!

Ideal Home

Rosa would thrive in a home where she can have her toys and food to herself. She does well with other dogs but prefers those larger than her and with lower energy.

Training & Support

Rosa is crate trained and does well on a leash, although she can be strong. She is described as shy and an introvert, so giving her space to warm up at her own pace will be beneficial.
