Beso is a sweet and affectionate dog who forms deep bonds with her people. She's not overly boisterous with strangers but blossoms into a loving and playful companion once she feels comfortable. Beso enjoys being part of everyday life, from cozy evenings on the couch to adventures outside the home. Her name means "kiss" in Spanish, and she lives up to it with her loving nature. She's a great sleeper and cuddle bug!
Ideal Home
Beso would thrive in a home that includes her in daily activities. She enjoys the company of other dogs and is even cat-tolerant. A home with a yard or an active apartment lifestyle with plenty of exercise and enrichment would be ideal. She may not be the best match for a very dominant female dog.
Ongoing Health
Beso is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with boosters, Bordetella, Rabies, and multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments. She has been spayed and is current on flea and heartworm prevention. She has also received a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Beso is food motivated and responds well to gentle guidance, making continued training enjoyable and rewarding. She walks reasonably well on leash. She has a charming quirk of carrying stuffed animals outside and sometimes forgets to bring them back in.

Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track your pet's journey in real time. Please note that Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
