Summi

Summi is a sweet 1-year-old black Terrier mix who had a difficult start to life, spending her days scavenging for food and being treated unkindly. Despite her rough beginnings, Summi has a gentle nature and would rather run from a meal than fight for it. She was understandably fearful of people and new experiences, often being shooed away or worse. Thankfully, she was rescued and brought to us, where she has begun to learn that she is safe and will always have a meal. While she is still a bit timid, her true loving personality shines through once she feels comfortable. You'll surely fall in love with her the moment you meet her!

Summi would do well in a home that understands her need for a little extra patience as she continues to build confidence.

Summi is a healthy girl who has recovered from her initial hardships.

Training & Support

Summi is already leash-trained and good in a bath. She is generally docile and dog and cat friendly. She may be timid around new people, but with patience and gentle introductions, she will blossom.
