Meet Brian, the one-of-a-kind tripod with a heart of gold!
Around 4 years old, this handsome boy has already shown what a true survivor he is. Life threw him some big challenges-he fractured both front legs and dislocated his wrist at some point in his first 2 years of life, leaving one leg bowed and shorter, which eventually meant saying goodbye to it. But don't let that fool you-this tripod doesn't miss a beat when it comes to living life to the fullest! He's a playful guy who loves short walks, cruising in his wagon, hopping in the car for adventures, and his favorite treat of all-pup cups. Car rides? Count him in. Snuggle breaks? Yes, please. He may zoom around with excitement, but he's also the king of rest time and knows when it's time to recharge.
Ideal Home
Brian thrives with structure and someone who can help him keep his cool. He does best with bigger dogs and older kids who understand his need for space, slow introductions, and quiet time. A fenced-in yard would be a dream come true, giving him the freedom to play safely at his own pace. This guy also likes a tidy space-otherwise he'll happily 'claim' any treasures he finds as his own. He's also a bit of a foodie and prefers to eat and chew his bones solo.
Ongoing Health
Brian is a tripod, having had one of his front legs amputated. He is nervous at the vet and wears a basket muzzle to feel safe during visits. He is working through his fears with positive vet experiences.
Training & Support
Brian is potty and crate trained. Because he gets really excited, he thrives with structure and someone who can help him keep his cool.
