Auggie is a 1-year-old, 55lb hound mix with a heart full of playfulness! He loves to romp with other dogs, both male and female, and truly enjoys the company of his foster siblings. Auggie is eager to engage with anyone who wants to join in on the fun. He's a sweet boy who thrives on love and positive reinforcement, and he'll blossom with a family dedicated to helping him build confidence through training and rewards.

Auggie tends to follow rather than lead and is quick to submit when another dog is upset. While he could potentially be an only dog with a family that has plenty of time to dedicate to him, he might adapt even faster in a home with a confident canine companion he can learn from. He's already house-trained and enjoys his crate, though he feels most secure when sharing it with another dog. Auggie lives with cats in his foster home but hasn't had extended close contact, so his cat-friendliness is unknown. However, his calm nature suggests he might do well with a cat who is accustomed to dogs. Auggie's mother was a Blue Tick Hound, and he is neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
