Muppet

Hi there, I'm Muppet! I'm an approximately 6-month-old, 31-pound bundle of energy and fun, and I'm still growing! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and have been enjoying my time with the wonderful volunteers. I'm currently participating in the Prison Pups training program, where I'm learning so much. I'm a happy, friendly, and outgoing boy with a playful personality and a smile-inducing face. I love being around people and thrive on attention. My energy level is moderate to high (6-8), and I'm looking for a family to share my adventures with!

Ideal Home

I'm a talkative pup who would do best in a home rather than an apartment or condo where I can happily express myself. I haven't met children yet, so a meet-and-greet is a must. Toddlers might be too small as I can get excited and jumpy. Children should not walk me as I tend to pull when I see something exciting, like a car! I do well with other dogs after a proper introduction, and I might be a little barky at first, but we can show you how to help with that. Cats are unknown.

I am current on my immunizations, micro-chipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

I've already mastered the "sit" command and am eager to learn more! I'm looking for a family dedicated to continuing my training journey. This includes teaching me not to chew on things and reinforcing potty training. I do have occasional accidents, and we'll continue working on this in my off-site training program. I don't enjoy being crated for long periods, so a home where I'm not crated excessively would be ideal. We offer free lifetime training classes to all our adopted dogs!
