Meet Max! This loyal, 5-year-old German Shepherd is the perfect blend of friendly and playful. He's a fun guy who enjoys spending time with people and loves showing off his happy trot when it's time for a walk. Max is fully housetrained and cratetrained. He has lived with another dog and does best with social, playful dogs that can match his energetic play style. He hasn't met cats or children yet.

Ongoing Health

Max has hypothyroidism, a common condition where the thyroid glands don't produce enough thyroid hormone. This is easily managed with a daily medication, and dogs with this condition can live long, happy lives. Hypothyroidism can sometimes lead to lower energy or weight gain, but since starting his medication, Max's energy has greatly improved!

Max is already housetrained and cratetrained. With his manageable health condition and training, he's ready to settle into his new home.
