Paula is a 5-year-old, 56 lb female Hound mix who is ready to find her forever home! Paula was rescued as a stray and had clearly been a mom many times over. She's now embracing her chance to experience a joy-filled life and is loving every minute of it! Paula enjoys playing with toys, going for long walks, and soaking up the sun. Her foster family has helped her build trust, and she's blossomed into a total cuddle bug who loves belly rubs and snuggling up with her people. She's great with children and other dogs, but Paula does chase cats, so a kitty-free home is a must. Paula is a smart girl who would thrive with a family committed to exercising her mind and body. While she loves her foster family and doggy siblings, hounds can be tempted by scents, so continued exercise and obedience training will help her stay focused. She truly deserves a loving home and is eager to share her affectionate heart with her new family. Paula is a calm and settled adult dog, yet still lively and incredibly affectionate.
