• Each pet receives multiple applications, so we thoroughly review each one, including veterinary and personal reference checks.
• There is no definitive timeline for the adoption process, and it can vary by pet.
• We will contact you if your application has been approved. Those not approved may not be contacted due to the volume of applications and time limitations of our volunteer staff.
• You are welcome to contact us to follow up on your application status if you haven't heard anything by a week after applying.

Transporation

Nyla is located at Safe Place for Animals, 905 Mallard Drive in Gallatin, Tennessee. Shelter visiting hours are Monday-Saturday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. No appointment is needed unless specified on the pet's listing. For Sunday appointment availability, please visit wags.com.
