She can be a little shy when first meeting new people or situations, preferring to observe before diving in. But once she knows you're a friend, she blossoms into a cuddly, loyal, and loving companion. This silly girl is rarely without her favorite toys and always ready for a game. She enjoys the company of other dogs, loves basking in the sunshine, and her goofy antics are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Penny is happiest when she's part of the family, whether she's trotting around with a toy, napping in a sunbeam, or curled up by your side. Penny is heartworm positive and will be foster to adopt until fully treated and tested negative by our clinic. This treatment is provided at no cost to the adopter.

Training & Support

Penny is a bit shy at first, taking time to warm up to new people and surroundings.

• Adoptions require a vet reference, a meet and greet, and a home visit with current pets.
