Big Mama

Big Mama is an affectionate, athletic, adventure-loving 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix who enjoys going on walks and meeting new people! She was found in the middle of the road and brought to safety from a euthanasia list. While she was once over 70lbs, she's now at a healthy weight of around 60lbs. Big Mama is incredibly people-friendly and loves to cuddle, though she can be unaware of her size when she's zooming around! She loves to lounge indoors but is ready for playtime once she's outside. She has done well with most of the pups she's met, but she tends to be more assertive and dominant with other female dogs. For this reason, a home with only male dogs would be best for her. While she enjoys playing with other dogs, she doesn't need a canine sibling to live her best life.

Ideal Home

A home without young children due to her energy level and size. She would do best in a home with only male dogs, though she doesn't require a canine companion.

Training & Support

Big Mama is potty and crate trained, knows "sit" and "shake," is very smart, and is good on a leash.
