Meet Brody! This handsome 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix is the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet companionship. Brody is a true goofball who loves to make you smile, whether he's showing off his signature tongue-out grin or happily donning a festive costume. He enjoys both outdoor adventures and cozy cuddles, making him a versatile and delightful addition to any home.
Ideal Home
Brody would thrive in a home with a secure backyard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy some zoomies. He's done well with friendly, laid-back female dogs but can be a bit much for smaller or more timid dogs. He's also happy to be your one-and-only pup! Brody has been great with children he's met, but we recommend a home with older, dog-savvy kids (8-10+) who know how to interact respectfully with dogs. Brody is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Brody is a healthy boy with no known health conditions.
Training & Support
Brody is a smart, food-motivated boy who is eager to please! He is housebroken and crate trained, and walks calmly on a loose leash. His foster mom has done a wonderful job with his obedience skills. While he can get a little excited around assertive male dogs, with calm guidance and continued positive experiences, he's shown great adaptability. Brody would benefit from a home that offers structure, consistency, and encouragement. Experience with breeds like Cattle Dogs or Pitbulls is a plus, as these intelligent dogs thrive with a purpose and enjoy activities like hikes, learning new tricks, or scent work.
