Dopey (Photos May 2 2026) (In Foster to Adopt)

Dopey is a charming male Terrier mix puppy who, along with his six siblings, arrived at HSOV on April 13, 2026. Their owner surrendered them due to an inability to care for the 'magnificent seven' puppies. Dopey and his littermates were estimated to be 3 months old at the time of their arrival. Dopey sports a black shorthaired coat with a striking white patch on his chest and belly, complemented by white paws and a long tail. His face is adorned with dark brown eyes, a white stripe on his forehead, a white muzzle, a black button nose, and charming semi-erect ears, giving him a perfectly symmetrical and adorable puppy look.

Ideal Home

Dopey is good with other dogs and children, making him a wonderful addition to a family environment.

Ongoing Health

Dopey received his first vaccines on April 13, 2026, weighing 16 lbs at the time, making him the smallest of the male puppies. He received booster vaccines on April 27, 2026. The puppies will be spayed/neutered before being officially adopted.

Training & Support

Dopey and his siblings were a bit distracted by outdoor kitties and were not yet accustomed to walking on a leash during their photo session, which provided some entertaining challenges.
