Meet Nina, our wonderfully squishy, two-year-old sweetheart who we affectionately call Miss Buttered Roll! Nina is so charming and cuddly, you'd swear she's a stuffed animal brought to life. With her soulful eyes, floppy ears, and adorable rolls, she's guaranteed to turn heads and capture hearts. We're not entirely sure of her breed mix, but we suspect a delightful blend of hound, boxer, and maybe even a touch of Beagle – a perfect recipe for pure perfection!
Ideal Home
Nina is a "respectful Velcro dog" who thrives on human companionship and affection. She enjoys being near her people but is also content to settle nearby while you go about your day. While she enjoys the company of other dogs and can be a playful social butterfly, she also has a responsible side and may step in if playtime gets too wild. She does best with thoughtful introductions and dogs who appreciate her gentle leadership. A calmer canine companion would be a great fit, or she would be perfectly happy as the sole canine ruler of your heart. Nina can get excited and pull on leash when she sees other dogs, so we're looking for a home environment rather than apartment living where she might frequently encounter unfamiliar dogs in close quarters. While her cat testing was inconclusive, showing polite curiosity, we're happy to arrange further testing for homes with feline friends. Based on her affectionate and gentle nature, we believe Nina has the potential to be a wonderful family dog, and we can complete kid testing for interested adopters.
Ongoing Health
Nina is a healthy girl, and her adoption fee includes all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and spay/neuter surgery.
Training & Support
Nina can get excited and bark or pull on leash when she sees other dogs, but she is much more relaxed once proper introductions are made. We are happy to provide guidance and support to help Nina succeed in her new home.

Nina is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT).
