A little about them
Little and Martha Washington are bonded female Golden mix puppies who were found abandoned at six weeks old. After recovering from parvo, they are now healthy, happy, affectionate, playful puppies who love toys, tennis balls, belly rubs, and curling up in a lap. They are very people-oriented, devoted to each other, crate and pee-pad trained, trustworthy in the house, enjoy the outdoors, and are good with other dogs.
Ideal Home
They must be adopted together. Their family should have plenty of time, patience, and commitment for two energetic puppies, with someone home most of the time. A securely fenced yard is required. Families should be prepared for frequent potty breaks, exercise, socialization, supervision, and consistent guidance.
Applicants with children should note that puppies under six months cannot be placed with families with children under six. Applicants with children under 16 must have direct access to a securely fenced yard; apartments and condos are not suitable. Adult-only apartment or condo households may also find puppy noise challenging.
Ongoing Health
Martha and Little were diagnosed with parvo after being abandoned and are now reported to be healthy.
Training & Support
They are crate and pee-pad trained and trustworthy in the house. As puppies, they will need continued potty training, socialization, exercise, direction, and supervision, especially around children and their sharp puppy teeth.
