Miss Nia is a resilient sweetheart who has overcome a great deal. She was rescued by The Underdog Railroad after an accident involving a train left her with a severe leg injury, requiring amputation. Despite this challenge, Nia is recovering beautifully and is ready to find her forever home! She is approximately 9 months old and weighs about 31 lbs, making her a perfect medium-sized companion. Nia's past is unknown, but her spirit shines through, and she shows incredible potential.

Ideal Home

Nia would likely thrive in a home with other medium to large dogs. She should steer clear of homes with small pets like cats or ferrets.

Ongoing Health

Nia is a tripod, having undergone an amputation due to an injury. She is current on vaccinations, dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. She is microchipped and spayed.

Training & Support

Nia is house-trained. She is recovering from her surgery and will need some time to get fully comfortable on three legs, but she is expected to be a happy and active dog soon!
