Chip is a 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix who weighs around 60 lbs. He's a sweet, playful, curious, and loving boy who is looking for an experienced adopter who can provide him with patience, safety, and endless love. Chip is a devoted companion who loves to cuddle and be by his people's side, often acting as a shadow. While he can be a little cautious when first meeting new people, he quickly becomes a devoted best friend once he feels comfortable.
Chip is a well-behaved boy who enjoys sniffing walks and is good on the leash. He is also crate-trained and potty-trained, and he loves spending time outdoors. Chip is a big fan of costumes and looks great in any outfit! He has done well with his foster siblings, who are calm dogs that enjoy his playful nature. Chip absolutely loves to play and would do best with slow introductions to other dogs. He would thrive with calm, more submissive doggy siblings who are happy to engage in play. Alternatively, he could be an only dog if he has opportunities for outings. Chip does not get along with cats.
Ideal Home
Chip would love a home where he can be your constant companion. He can experience anxiety when left alone, but he is working on his separation anxiety and can be crated. He would do best with a family committed to continuing his training and would also be happy to accompany you on outings like car rides and walks. Chip has been around older children and has done well. He would prefer a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
Chip is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. No ongoing health concerns are noted.
Training & Support
Chip is crate-trained and potty-trained. He is working on his separation anxiety and can be crated when left alone. He would benefit from continued training and positive reinforcement to help him build confidence and manage his anxiety.
