LOKI

Loki is a spirited 2-year-old pup who found himself looking for a new beginning when his owner was deployed. Though he found temporary comfort, his original owner was unable to accommodate him upon their return, leaving this sweet boy in need of a loving, permanent home. Loki is a talkative and playful companion who adores his people. He's an active and friendly dog, already crate-trained and knows his basic commands. However, Loki can be a bit fearful and may bark at strangers or hesitate to go outside. He'll thrive with someone who can offer him extra reassurance and patient guidance.

Ideal Home

Loki would love a home where he can feel secure and confident. His tendency to bark at strangers and sometimes refuse to go outside means he'll do best in an environment where he can receive patient and consistent positive reinforcement.

Ongoing Health

Loki has experienced three seizures since March 2026. His veterinarian has evaluated him and determined that he does not require medication at this time.

Training & Support

Loki knows basic commands and is crate-trained, which is a great foundation! He may need some extra help building confidence around new people and when going outdoors. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping him overcome his fears.
