Lou, a charming mixed-breed terrier, is as sweet as his nickname, "Lover," suggests! He's a real charmer, known for gently standing on his hind legs to get your attention, looking at you with those big, loving eyes. Lou and his siblings were found as dumped puppies in rural Arkansas and were cared for by kind Samaritans before coming to us. He's a doll who thrives on affection and would love to be the center of attention in a loving family. Lou is a very playful and intelligent boy, approximately 45lbs and no longer growing. He's already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and with his potty training experience, he should adjust quickly to a home environment.
Ideal Home
Lou would love to be the center of attention in a family of his own, and he already adores children. He'd make a wonderful family dog.
Ongoing Health
Lou is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is up-to-date on his Simparica Trio heartworm, flea, and tick preventative. He will receive a vet exam, a negative fecal test, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Lou is already doing well with his house training, and completing it in a home environment should be a breeze.

Transporation
Lou is currently in Arkansas but we provide transport to many New England cities. If you're interested but not in the New England area, we're happy to guide you through the process and find the transport stop nearest to you. The adoption fee of $250 includes transport to many New England cities.
