A-Zeus

Zeus is a 5-year-old, 65lb bundle of love, personality, and curiosity! He's described as a lovable, huggable dog with the most expressive face and eyes like golden buttons. Zeus is a sweet, smart, sensitive, and affectionate boy who truly believes he's a lap dog, even at his size. He loves to cuddle and is a very good, if sometimes goofy, companion. While he has plenty of playful energy and would make an excellent running partner (he's a pro on leash!), Zeus also knows how to mellow out and enjoy a relaxed evening, typically settling down around 8 pm and sleeping until 9 am, unless he's invited for a walk. He's loyal, enjoys his toys and games of fetch, and would be a great addition to an active household.

Ideal Home

Zeus would thrive in a home with a big, fully fenced yard. He is okay with children but would do best in a home without them as he can experience jealousy.

No significant health concerns were noted.

Training & Support

Zeus is a smart and easily trained dog who looks to his people for guidance. He already knows a variety of commands including sit, stay, come, heel, leave it, and shake. He's also been taught to wait for a call when going up or down stairs. Zeus is crate trained, potty trained, and comfortable being left alone in the house. He enjoys car rides and knows how to behave appropriately in new environments.
