Meet Lyric! This sweet 2-year-old retriever mix is a true adventurer, having made her way to us all the way from Kuwait! Lyric spent her early life on the streets of Western Asia before our rescue partners brought her into their care and arranged her flight to us. She's been with us for quite some time and is patiently waiting for her forever family. Lyric is a friendly and happy girl who absolutely adores other dogs. She can be a bit shy when you first meet her, but with some love and tasty treats, she really comes out of her shell! She's working on her household manners and leash skills while with us, and is eager to learn more. Lyric is athletic and enthusiastic, making her the perfect companion for adventures and a lively family life. She also has a special love for the water, and her adoption fee has been reduced! This wonderful girl is ready for her happily ever after. We promised Lyric that the rest of her life would be the best of her life. Could that be with you?

Ideal Home

Lyric loves other dogs and is eager to please. She is athletic and would likely enjoy an active home that can provide her with plenty of adventures.

Lyric is working on household manners and leash skills. She is shy at first but warms up with positive reinforcement and treats.

Transporation

Lyric is located in South Carolina and is transported to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
