Tanuki

Meet Tanuki, a sweet senior gentleman around 12-14 years young and weighing in at a sturdy 69 lbs. He was originally surrendered because he was reluctant to move, but it turns out he was just battling lumbar spondylosis, arthritis, and heartworm disease. Thanks to our care, he's had his heartworms treated and is now on pain management, which has given him a whole new lease on life! Tanuki is a happy, affectionate boy who loves to soak up love and return it tenfold. He's wonderfully polite with other dogs and we suspect he'd be a great friend to cats too. When he's not showering you with affection, he loves nothing more than playing fetch or enjoying a refreshing dip in a pool.

Ideal Home

Tanuki would thrive in a home where he can continue to enjoy his golden years with comfort and love. He's already shown he's great with kids and dogs.

Tanuki has lumbar spondylosis and arthritis, for which he is on pain management. He has also been treated for heartworm disease.

Tanuki is house-trained and knows basic commands.
