He is a 7-month-old, 33 lb, pittie mix with the sweetest personality and a face that will melt your heart. He's been described as a "sweet little prince" who is super dog-friendly and has gotten along with every dog he's met. He's also respectful of cats. Onyx Baby is already well-behaved with wonderful house manners, knows basic commands like "sit," and is eager to please, making him a smart boy ready for more training. He is crate trained and mostly potty trained, though he may have occasional accidents if left alone for long periods.

Ideal Home

Onyx Baby would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and relax, but he's also happy being a couch potato. He would likely do best with another dog in the home to be his companion. We can test him with children upon request.

Ongoing Health

Onyx Baby is a rescue dog, and his breed and exact age are a mystery. He has received all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and he has been spayed/neutered.

Training & Support

Onyx Baby is already crate trained and working on his potty training. He knows basic commands like "sit" and is gentle when taking treats. He is eager to please and has a good foundation for further training.

Transporation

Onyx Baby is currently located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
