Misty

Meet Misty! She's a 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. Misty is on the quiet, shy side, but once she decides you're in her inner circle, she's all sweetness and charm. She's a polite companion who will coexist happily with cats and make friends with other dogs without any fuss.

Ideal Home

Misty's perfect home includes a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable requirement. She would also do best with children who are past the boisterous "screeching years." She will truly thrive with kindness, patience, and a little time to blossom into her wonderful personality. A comfy sofa to relax on would be a fantastic bonus!

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. While this sounds concerning, it simply means she cannot use a collar with a leash. A chest-type harness is required for her safety and comfort throughout her life. Aside from an occasional cough if the harness isn't fitted quite right, this condition is not an issue.

Training & Support

Misty is generally a well-behaved girl, but as with any dog, consistency and positive reinforcement will help her continue to be her best self. She's a gentle soul who will appreciate a calm and loving environment.
