Ellie

Ellie is a 3.5-year-old, 75-pound Redbone Coonhound with a boisterous personality! She loves to greet her favorite people with an enthusiastic, full-speed run and a playful leap, but don't worry, she'll settle down for some amazing hugs and gentle kisses. Ellie's soulful eyes can look right into your heart, and she's a big fan of food! She's a smart girl who is potty-trained and rides well in the car.

Ideal Home

Ellie is not suited for apartment living as she can be quite vocal. A securely fenced yard is preferred to keep her safe, especially when her nose leads her on an adventure. She enjoys the company of other dogs, though she can be a bit much for them initially. Ellie should not be placed in a home with cats or other small animals. While she's fine with children, remember she's a rambunctious 75-pound girl.

Ongoing Health

Ellie is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and on prevention. She will be spayed this week. Ellie is currently being treated for Lyme disease and a bacterial infection in her left ear.

Training & Support

Ellie is working on crate training and would benefit from additional obedience training, especially with treats to motivate her!
