Jasmine *Arriving 7/11* D11679

Jasmine is a sweet, playful girl with a laid-back personality. She loves being around other dogs and enjoys a good game of chase, but she's just as happy lounging nearby and soaking up the sunshine. She's done well with cats and young children and will be a wonderful companion for just about any household. Jasmine came from a hoarding situation where she lived outdoors with more than 20 other dogs. Despite her difficult past, she has adapted beautifully to home life. She's making great progress with potty training and finds comfort in her crate, which has become her safe place. She should be fed in her kennel or in a separate room, as she's an enthusiastic food thief and will happily help herself to another dog's meal if given the chance. Like many dogs from food-insecure backgrounds, Jasmine will eat things she shouldn't if left unsupervised, so she should be crated when home alone. She also has a habit of eating other dogs' stool, so keeping the yard picked up is important in a multi-dog home. Jasmine is a loving, resilient girl who is ready for a patient family that will appreciate her quirky personality and continue helping her thrive.

Jasmine is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 7/11/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
