Shaolin

Shaolin is a nearly 4-year-old pit bull with a big personality, a bigger heart, and just the right mix of playful energy and laid-back charm. He's affectionate, charismatic, and a little bit of a goofball who will keep you smiling. Shaolin loves being around people and shows it through gentle nibbles, kisses, and his signature “knucklehead” antics. He enjoys long walks, car rides, and spending time outside. Shaolin has a medium energy level, happy to play and be active, but also content to relax once he’s had his exercise. Shaolin came into rescue through no fault of his own; his previous owner loved him deeply but made the difficult decision to surrender him to ensure he could continue receiving the care and stability he deserves.

Ideal Home

A home with teens or adults would likely be the best fit. Any introductions to other pets should be done thoughtfully.

Ongoing Health

Shaolin has a known allergy to poultry (chicken, turkey, etc.), so he will need a home that can accommodate a simple, consistent diet.

Training & Support

Shaolin does have some training needs but is a quick learner. He would benefit from continued work on leash manners, as he can pull when excited, as well as basic obedience. He is crate trained and does well with structure. While not aggressive with other dogs, he can get excited and would benefit from continued socialization.

Transporation

Shaolin is located at our rescue. Transportation may be available for approved adopters.
