This sweet, charming pup has a tough boy look with the softest heart you'll ever meet! He loves catching flies and will replace your pest control service! Nolia thrives with other canine friends and loves kids. He is a master of the sploot, professional with the doggie door, and house-trained. He also loves to hang out in his big kennel. He knows "sit," "shake," "lay," and "kennel," and we are working on lots more tricks! Cuddling at night with his humans is his cutest flex; he's a master at it!
This world has not always been kind to Nolia. He was rescued from a ditch, emaciated. He was nursed back to health, and then his dad had a stroke and could no longer care for him. Now Nolia is looking for his forever family to share his sweetly charming warmth and companionship.

Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
- Listed breed and age are based on a best-guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
- Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
- All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
Transporation
Nolia is located in Houston, TX. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
