Dottie is a delightful 4-year-old, 62-pound female ready to find her forever home! She's fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, making her all set for a new adventure. Dottie is a wonderful companion who loves to play and cuddle, and she's incredibly loyal. Her foster mom describes her as goofy with a big personality that will surely bring laughter and joy. She's also very intelligent and food-motivated, which makes training a breeze! Dottie's greatest wish is to be by your side, offering her love and companionship.
Ideal Home
Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home where she can enjoy at least one good walk or play session daily. She enjoys playing with rope toys, stuffies, and tug-o-war. While she's dog-friendly and currently lives with other dogs, she does best with one or two calm, bigger dogs in a more relaxed environment. She can sometimes get overstimulated in large groups. Dottie would also be very happy as the only pet, receiving all the attention. She is cat-friendly and generally leaves them alone unless they initiate play. Dottie has some apprehension towards younger males, so she would do best in a home without young boys or an all-female household. She is wonderful when meeting women.
Ongoing Health
Dottie is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and is spayed. She is microchipped and ready to go!
Training & Support
Dottie is fully potty trained and reliably does her business outside. She is also crate trained and actually loves her kennel, often relaxing in it while her foster mom works. She can free-roam and does well, with only initial whining before settling down. She does pull and bark when she sees other dogs on leash, but walks calmly otherwise. Her intelligence and food motivation make her a quick learner when it comes to training.
