About Simba

Simba is a playful and curious 5-month-old Lab mix who is ready to find his forever home! He weighs approximately 20 lbs and has a heart full of affection. Simba is currently in a temporary foster home with his sister, Zoey, where he is learning about home life and building confidence. He gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home and is likely to be a great addition to a family with children. Simba is still learning and will benefit from continued training, structure, and socialization to help him grow into a well-rounded adult companion. He's at the perfect age to form a strong bond and learn all the joys of having a loving home.

Ideal Home

Simba would thrive in an active family ready for the fun, laughter, and occasional puppy antics. He's looking for patience, guidance, and lots of love to help him become a loyal and wonderful companion.

Ongoing Health

Simba's adoption fee includes his spay/neuter procedure, up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age-appropriate), and a veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption.

Training & Support

Simba is still working on potty training and crate training. He is learning to walk on a leash. Continued training, structure, and socialization will be key to his development.

Application Details:

  • Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
  • After approval, you'll have a 5-day foster-to-adopt trial period.
  • A home visit (in-person or via Zoom) will be conducted after the adoption process.
  • If Simba is not yet spayed/neutered, reimbursement is available for the procedure if done at specific clinics.

Transportation

Simba is currently in Texas and needs a committed foster or adopter to secure his transport to Cedarburg, WI, on June 3, 2026.
