Hi, my name is Teddy Murphy! I’m a handsome and fun-loving mini-Aussie, weighing in at about 35lbs. While I’m around 7 years old, I have the energy and spirit of a much younger pup! I’m an active boy who would make a fantastic hiking buddy and I absolutely love to play games, especially "chase" with my doggy friends. My recall is excellent, so once we've bonded, you can trust me to stick by your side.

Ideal Home

I’m a very devoted companion and would love a home where I can be with my human as much as possible. While I can be left alone, it might take some time for me to adjust and feel secure. I’m looking for a patient and understanding family who can help me build confidence. Given my love for barking at squirrels, I’d likely do best in a home without cats. Children over 8 years old would be a good fit for me.

Training & Support

I can be a little anxious when left alone, but I’m learning to settle as I gain trust. I am crate trained, but please don't leave a bed or blanket in the crate with me when I'm unsupervised, as I've been known to destroy them to show my displeasure. However, if you are home, my crate bedding is perfectly fine. I can sometimes resource guard my toys and my human, but I’m a very smart boy and eager to please, so with clear guidance, I can learn to manage this behavior.
