Ripp

Ripp is a survivor with a heart full of hope. He was once a terrified stray who initially shut down completely upon arriving at the shelter, too scared to leave his kennel and reacting with fear to touch. After being placed on the euthanasia list, a foster stepped in to save his life. In his foster home, Ripp was initially unsure of new experiences, particularly going outside, and his kennel remained his safe space. He has experienced violent seizures, which are now fully controlled with medication. Despite his difficult past, Ripp has blossomed into a sensitive, soulful, and incredibly loyal companion. He now gently seeks comfort by tucking his head under an arm and leans in for affection, drawing confidence from his best friend, Tanner. Ripp is a testament to resilience, proving that even the most challenging beginnings can lead to a beautiful life.

Ideal Home

Ripp and Tanner are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They are looking for a home that understands trauma and can celebrate their progress.

Ongoing Health

Ripp has a history of violent seizures, which are now fully controlled with medication.

Training & Support

Ripp was initially fearful of touch and unfamiliar experiences, but he has made significant progress in his foster home. He thrives with reassurance and a predictable environment.
