Oreo has overcome so much and is now looking for a loving family to call his own. He's a 4-year-old, 23-pound terrier mix who was rescued after surviving on the streets and spending time in a high-kill shelter. Oreo is a sensitive soul who needs a patient and understanding family to help him feel safe and truly settle in. The kennel environment can be a bit much for him, but with a little time, treats, and gentle encouragement, his true, affectionate, and goofy personality will shine through. He loves to snuggle, lean against his favorite people for comfort, and will be your most loyal shadow. Oreo enjoys adventures, whether it's a road trip, a neighborhood walk, or just running errands, and he's also a fantastic lap dog who loves a good cuddle session after a day of excitement. He's looking for a home that will allow him to move at his own pace and love him for the wonderful companion he is.
