About Anderson Beau One Good Pup

Some puppies make you laugh. Some puppies melt your heart. And then there's Anderson Beau... somehow he manages to do both at the exact same time. One minute he's bouncing around with a toy in his mouth, his floppy ears flapping every which way like they have a mind of their own. The next, he's looking up at you with those gorgeous light green eyes and that sweet puppy face that makes you wonder how something so cute can even exist. He's the kind of puppy that just makes people happy. There's no other way to explain it. He's goofy, affectionate, incredibly sweet, and has one of those easygoing personalities that makes him feel like he's been your best friend forever. Anderson Beau is approximately 4 months old and currently weighs around 14 lbs. We believe he may be a Lab/Australian Shepherd mix, but with rescue it's always a mystery and we can never guarantee breed. Anderson has one of those personalities that's just... easy. He's playful without being over the top, affectionate without being clingy, and goofy in the kind of way that keeps you laughing throughout the day. He's always ready for a game with his toys, happy to entertain himself when needed, and just as happy hanging out beside his people afterward. His foster mom jokingly calls him the little rule follower of the bunch because he's such a good puppy. He's the kind of guy that genuinely seems to enjoy making good choices, and it's honestly pretty adorable. Anderson is currently thriving in a foster home where he's beginning to explore the world through play, naps, mealtime routines, and gentle socialization. He's living with his siblings along with two adult dogs. One is a sassy little 9-pound Chiweenie that's more than happy to remind the puppies who's really in charge, and the other is a wonderful large female dog who's basically adopted the whole litter as her own. Anderson fits right in with everyone. Whether he's playing with the puppies or hanging out with the adult dogs, he's just happy to be part of the fun. One look at Anderson and it's easy to see why everyone comments on how handsome he is. His rich chocolatey brown coat, those adorable floppy ears, and striking light green eyes are enough to make anyone stop scrolling. But as cute as he is on the outside, it's his sweet personality that really steals the show. He's simply one of those puppies that's incredibly easy to love.

Ideal Home

Anderson's future family gets to experience all of those moments with him, and we have no doubt he's going to make every single one of them even more fun.

Ongoing Health

Like any young puppy, Anderson is still learning all the important puppy skills. He's already crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night in his kennel like a champ. Potty training is still a work in progress, but he's already catching on quickly.

Training & Support

All he needs now is a family that's willing to continue providing the routine, structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement every puppy needs while growing up. Like every puppy, Anderson will need a family that's ready to continue helping him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. Continued socialization, training, routine, boundaries, and positive experiences will all help him become the incredible companion we already know he's capable of being. We also require adopters to begin crate training immediately after bringing their puppy home, as it helps with potty training, building confidence, creating healthy routines, and giving puppies a safe place that's all their own.
