Melinda, a 2 to 3-year-old Beagle-Hound Lab mix, is a bundle of affectionate energy ready to bring joy to a loving home! She adores playtime, leisurely walks, and engaging with everyone she meets. Melinda is a social butterfly with a bright and curious mind, and her treat motivation makes training a breeze. Despite a challenging past where she was left alone and chained, she's overcome her circumstances with resilience and an immense capacity for love. She forms deep bonds with people and is incredibly eager to find a forever family to shower with affection. Melinda's ideal day includes car rides, hikes, and exploring outdoor trails – she truly thrives on outdoor adventures!

Ideal Home

Melinda would thrive in a home that can offer plenty of playtime and outdoor exploration. She gets along wonderfully with children, other dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, and even senior pets!

Ongoing Health

Melinda has received all age-appropriate medical care, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick prevention, and a microchip with lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Melinda is house and crate trained and is learning to walk on a leash. She's showing great progress in basic obedience and is eager to continue learning in her forever home. Continued training will be a rewarding journey!

Melinda is located in the Indy area. Transport to adopters may be possible at the adopter's expense, with a booking charge.
