Meet Alida - a 9-year-old, 11-pound Yorkie/dachshund mix with a beautiful black and tan coat and a tender, soulful presence. Alida was found as a stray in very rough condition, carrying a large mammary tumor on her underside, but despite everything she's endured, she still has love to give. Alida is a quiet, gentle girl who prefers a calm environment with soft voices and slow, respectful interactions. She has some vision impairment, so she does best in a peaceful home where she can move confidently and feel safe. She enjoys having a cozy spot to rest and appreciates affection on her own terms. This sweet senior isn't demanding - she's simply looking for comfort, kindness, and a patient person who understands that love doesn't have to be loud. If you have a quiet home and a compassionate heart, Alida would be grateful to spend her days feeling safe and cared for.
