Meet Roo!

Roo is a spirited and intelligent Cattle Dog mix, estimated to be 4 months old and weighing 19lbs as of July 10th. She embodies all the wonderful traits of her breed – loyal, engaged in your activities, and always up for an adventure! Roo is a bright spark who thrives when her mind and body are kept busy.

Ideal Home

Roo would be a fantastic companion for an experienced Cattle Dog owner who understands the commitment to physical and mental exercise this breed requires. She needs an active home with plenty of opportunities for enrichment and is not suited for apartment living; a fenced yard is a must. A playful, energetic dog sibling would be a huge bonus, as Roo enjoys having a canine friend to match her energy and engage in play.

Ongoing Health

Roo is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed.

Training & Support

Roo is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she may not be enthusiastic about entering her crate, she settles quickly and behaves well once inside. She is not a destructive dog when her needs for activity and mental stimulation are met. Continued training and support will help her reach her full potential.

Transporation

Roo is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her adoption fee includes transport to locations where stops are available.
